Travel Designer Sardinia is led by me, Sandra Sanna, a local Sardinia travel designer based on the island. I specialise in custom made trips to Sardinia for independent travellers, couples, families and small groups.
Each journey is personally designed according to your travel style, interests, pace and budget.

Yes! All journeys created by Travel Designer Sardinia are designed in full compliance with European and Italian travel regulations.
Travel Designer Sardinia is an independent travel expert specialised in custom travel in Sardinia and collaborates with two accredited partners, Tururi Tours and Alguer Viaggi, who provide the statutory financial travel guarantee.
Tururi Tours is a licensed Dutch tour operator affiliated with SGR Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden under number 3373.
Chamber of Commerce Amsterdam 34188835.
Alguer Viaggi is a licensed Italian tour operator covered by a financial guarantee through Europ Assistance, in accordance with the Italian Tourism Code.

You travel independently without a fixed guide and decide how each day unfolds. I believe Sardinia is best discovered in freedom, staying in special locations away from mass tourism.
You will also receive detailed personal recommendations for beaches, restaurants, viewpoints, charming villages and authentic local experiences.
During a group tour you follow a predefined day by day programme accompanied by an experienced tour guide.
Included are:
• comfortable air-conditioned coach transport
• meals according to programme
• entrance tickets and scheduled visits
• local assistance throughout the entire tour
All taxes and administration fees are included, ensuring transparent pricing without hidden costs.
After receiving your travel wishes I prepare a personalised Sardinia travel proposal.
Once approved, availability of all services is verified. After confirmation you receive the official booking confirmation and invoice.
The deposit is 30 percent.
The remaining balance is due no later than 45 days before departure.
After full payment all travel documents, vouchers and practical information are provided through a digital travel link that also works offline.
Cancellations must always be communicated in writing by email.
Standard cancellation conditions are:
• more than 60 days before departure 15 percent
• between 60 and 30 days before departure 50 percent
• between 30 and 14 days before departure 90 percent
• within 14 days before departure 100 percent
Any different conditions are always communicated clearly in advance.
Yes. We strongly recommend taking on travel insurance and cancellation insurance for situations such as illness, medical costs, trip cancellation or repatriation.
Insurance is not included in the base travel price.
An annual travel insurance policy through your own provider is often more cost effective.
Please note that some policies have maximum coverage limits per trip.
In some cases, credit card payments already include insurance coverage. Always verify this with your bank or insurance provider.
For our packages we cooperate with Mondial Assistance.
Cancellation insurance generally costs:
6.5 percent of the total travel price
plus 21 percent insurance tax
and € 4.50 administration fee.
Flights booked separately can also be insured if desired.
